At the same time, it is possible to explore the canyon, practice water sports in the open water of the river, visit the Provençal villages and appreciate the griffon vultures.
The Chasteuil campsite is particularly aimed at families who like to spend holidays surrounded by nature. The stay allows you to go hiking on the fishermen’s trails, on the Imbut or Rougon trails. The estate benefits from all the amenities and comfort required on a daily basis, with clean and functional sanitary facilities.
The Verdon area
The Domaine du Verdon is a campsite equipped with 214 pitches well anchored in a luxurious setting, with the choice of a stay in a tent, in a caravan or in a motorhome. Each camper chooses the location that suits him, depending on the shade of each place.
Among the pitches available, some are not equipped with electricity. For the most demanding, comfort and premium ranges are even offered, with a living space of 100 m², garden furniture, a refrigerator and a gas barbecue. To allow campers to fill up with water and empty motorhomes, a service terminal is available to vehicles.
The Sandaya campsite in Castellane
It is another camping village located upstream of the Gorges du Verdon, in the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence, it is crossed by the river with the lakes of Castillon and Sainte-Croix as surroundings. It is a place that welcomes holidaymakers for a beautiful stay along the water.
To facilitate the stay of campers and ensure a comfortable stay, the site has a grocery store that sells food, hygiene and maintenance products. Even in the middle of nature, the most connected still have access to WiFi to stay connected to the real world.
