What to pay attention to before starting?
Before cleaning a TV screen with any product, it is better to take a few precautions. First, consult the instructions for your television. Some products are prohibited by the manufacturers because they could damage it.
Then, when you’re ready to start cleaning, turn off your TV and unplug it. It’s more cautious. And you will better discern stains such as fingerprints. This also allows not to interfere with the pixels.

To note : If you don’t have a microfiber cloth handy, use a soft cotton cloth. Pay attention to the choice of fabric so as not to damage your screen. For example, it is better to avoid paper towels or toilet paper because because of their abrasive material, they can scratch the screen.
Use isopropyl alcohol
But what is isopropyl alcohol used to clean LED screens? In fact, it is a non-abrasive product which has the advantage of being easy to use. Indeed, it is enough to dilute it in distilled or demineralized water, taking care not to exceed the dose of 50% alcohol. Otherwise, you can also use bottled or purified water.
Then spray solution on a lint-free cloth. And clean your screen always respecting the same direction to avoid traces. Insist in the presence of stains while remaining delicate!
Be careful, never replace isopropyl alcohol with another product with a similar name. 90% alcohol, for example, is not suitable for TV screens because it may contain oil.
If there’s one good household product to have on hand, it’s white vinegar. Versatile, it also allows the cleaning of TV screens. And in addition, it is natural, and therefore more ecological than other products.
To do this, mix white vinegar and water in a bucket (same quantity). Then, take a cloth and dip it in the solution. You can then clean your TV.
In the presence of small spots, make circular movements. Finally, when you have finished cleaning with white vinegar, go over with a clean, dry cloth and dry the screen.
Be careful, do not spray the white vinegar directly on the screen at the risk of damaging it.
In stores, in the cleaning products section, you will easily find cloths specially designed to clean TV screens. This is a practical and quick solution for regularly cleaning your television. Especially since there are some on the market with optional anti-reflection.
Again, make sure your screen supports the product. For this, consult the manufacturer’s instructions on the recommendations. And before cleaning with a wipe, wipe with a microfiber or antistatic cloth.
With glass product
The glass product can also be a solution if you want to clean your TV screen. Take a soft, clean cloth and soak it in window cleaner. Then rub gently.
Please note that there are precautions for use. Indeed, the glass product is not used on all TVs. If you have an LED screen, do not use solutions containing alcohol, ammonia, soap or other household products.
