  • the Darty settlement in three installments. This method of payment is possible if you complete a credit file at Menafinance. This is Darty’s financial partner. You are thus debited in three instalments, on a fixed date, with interest;
  • payment in four monthly installments. The samples are taken over the next four months. You must also pay fees and interest.

Payment in installments at Darty, what there is to know

Before choosing payment in 3x or 4x, you need to know some things. First, the sign collaborates with the financing organization Menafinance. Once this means of payment has been accepted, you must provide Menafinance with a RIB (bank account statement), a photocopy of your identity document and a copy of proof of address.

Then, for a payment in three instalments, a reserve of 1000 euros is allocated to you. Then, withdrawals are made on a fixed date, every month until reimbursement. Although this principle seems advantageous for the consumer, some precautions must be taken.

Indeed, this reserve of money is not free. This is a revolving credit, also called revolving credit. A maturity and a borrowing rate are applied. The cost of financing is 1.5% of the total amount of your order for a payment in 3x. And 2.2% of the total amount of your order for payment in 4x. The sum is integrated into the second installment.

People in financial difficulty can therefore easily find themselves in a situation of over-indebtedness. Before subscribing to the payment in three or four instalments at Darty, it is advisable to take into account the state of its budget as well as its borrowing capacity.

How to pay in 3x or 4x by credit card on Darty.com?

You want to pay for your Darty order in installments. You’ll need follow several steps for the operation to be effective:

  • first, choose your items on Darty.com and add them to the basket;
  • once your order has been confirmed, select « payment in 3x DARTY CB » or « payment in 4x Darty »;
  • then fill in the attached form. Indicate your identity, your address, your date of birth as well as the number of your bank card, its expiry date and its pictogram (the three digits located on the back of the CB);
  • finally, you just have to wait for the (immediate) response.

Note that once your request for Darty payment in three or four instalments has been accepted, you will have to wait a few days the time the payment runs. On your account statement, you will then see the wording « Darty direct debit » or « Facily Pay direct debit », or « ONEY direct debit ».

To know : when the payment option in installments is available, the financing solution is indicated directly on the product sheet. The amount of your monthly payments and associated costs is displayed on the eligible product sheet.

The conditions for being able to pay in several monthly installments

On the other hand, you should know that not all consumers have the option of paying for their purchases in installments. Indeed, the total amount of the order must be between 150 and 2000 euros. In this case, the household appliance brand offers you a payment solution in 3 or 4 installments by credit card.

Not all credit cards are accepted either. Holders of a CB, Visa or Mastercard can resort to payment in several monthly installments. On the other hand, Visa Electron and Maestro cards are excluded from the scheme.

Then in terms of maturities, the first must be paid at the time of purchase. Then, the following monthly payments are automatically withdrawn at 30 days.

Finally, note that not all Darty products are eligible for payment in instalments. To find out if an item is eligible, simply go to its product page.
